Descaling for Steel Production

Project Introduction

● The surface of hot-rolled steel billets will form scales （Iron trioxide, etc） when heated in a heating furnace. The purification rate can reach 98% or higher after descaling using high-pressure water. This will not only improve the product quality, but also reduce the abrasion of the rollers and the emission of smoke and dust during rolling process.

● The high-pressure water comes from all angles with no blind spot. After the steel billets go through the flow, their surface glow with bright red with no residual scales visible.
